EVRY and GitHub enters into a strategic partnership with GitHub to accelerate DevOps adoption in the Nordics

Share
EVRY has announced a strategic partnership with GitHub that makes EVRY the first Managed Service Provider for GitHub in pan-EMEA. This partnership will accelerate the growth of DevOps in the Nordics, fostering an agile and efficient way of working.

This will help customers to save time and money by reaching overall business goals and time-to-market.

GitHub is the best platform for source code and collaboration tool for software projects. With more than 25 million people across the globe using the platform to collaborate on 70+ million software projects, GitHub is the world’s largest developer community.

The partnership will allow EVRY’s customers to enjoy the best of from GitHub, such as collaborative coding across teams and locations, seamless code review, bug tracking, feature requests, and task management, without compromising on the features the business needs.

“EVRY is positioning itself as the leading public cloud advisor and service provider in the Nordics and with the GitHub partnership we are further expanding our DevOps offerings in the rapidly growing market. We can now support our customers’ DevOps pipeline from end to end. In particular, we can deliver services that help our customers deploy applications quickly, reduce deployment inefficiencies, increase development velocity, and ultimately save time and money by reaching overall business goals and decreasing time-to-market," says Per Hove, Executive Vice President, EVRY Digital Platform Services.

Avoid multiple challenges

GitHub Enterprise as a managed service brings an on- premise solution that allows customers to avoid multiple challenges, such as data placement, authentication, at-rest encryption, limited methods of restricting access to content across teams, auditing, and more. It is compatible with either public or private clouds, where the latter delivery model is particularly relevant for customers with specific compliance or regulatory demands, keeping the data as close their premises as they require.

“We have been waiting for the right opportunity to enter the Nordic market, and are very proud to announce that we found a partner in EVRY. We strongly believe that EVRY and GitHub - with EVRY’s large customer base in the Nordics and GitHub’s large market share globally - can achieve great success together.”, says Jesper Hyrm, VIce President, EMEA at GitHub.

In addition to becoming an Integration Partner, to help GitHub in the continuous development of the platform, EVRY has joined the following partner programs from GitHub: Value Added Reseller, System Integrator, and Managed Service Provider. This means that EVRY is expanding and strengthening its service portfolio to support customers that want to leverage the benefits of the DevOps methodology, without compromising company policies.
