SpareBank1 Forsikring Selects OnBase by Hyland to Meet Future Information Management Needs

Hyland, creator of OnBase today announced that SpareBank1 Forsikring (SB1F), part of the SpareBank 1 Gruppen (the Group) and one of the largest providers of financial products and services in the Norwegian market, has selected OnBase by Hyland, a single enterprise information platform.

SB1F provides life and general insurance services via the banks in the SpareBank 1 Alliance, and as an independent insurer. With nearly 600 employees at its headquarters in Oslo working directly with its data archive, as well as customers, bank advisors and brokers accessing documents via SB1F’s portals, SB1F needed to replace its archive systems with a consolidated solution to improve systems architecture and accelerate work processes.

To meet its future information management needs, SB1F was looking for an advanced and robust, yet agile enterprise content management (ECM) solution to harmonize, optimize and automate processes across business areas and increase workplace efficiency.
