LONDON, Oct. 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Selina, the Latin American hospitality brand that’s building a global ecosystem for digital nomads, has announced the opening of its first European location in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The latest opening represents the first of many planned across Europe, Latin America and the United States, with the fast-growing startup also set to land in Miami later this year.    

Curated by local artists, creatives and tastemakers, the 60-room property combines beautifully-designed accommodations with co-work facilities, wellness, and cultural programming driven by local art, food, design and music. Located at Rua das Oliveiras, nº61-65, the property will feature private and unique rooms and suites (ranging from EU$90-190 per night) and shared dormitory-style rooms (starting from EU$19 per night), in addition to two new food and beverage concepts and expansive indoor and outdoor gardens.

Selina’s communal spaces are designed to bring the local community together with travelers from all over the world. The cultural agenda at Selina Porto will include live concerts, art exhibitions, thematic dinners, DJ performances and more. Programming will be curated by the property’s Experience Board, a collection of local artists, designers, foodies and musicians who have been involved in developing the Selina Porto concept and will continue to inform the authentic experiences available to guests.
