Rossmann Showcases Digital Shopping Experience with Axway API Management


As consumer rewards and discount programs have become common practice in the retail industry, stores are seeking new innovative ways to attract shoppers. Dirk Rossmann GmbH, a leading retail company in Germany operating over 3,400 stores and offering more than 17,000 health and beauty products, relies on Axway (Paris:AXW), a market leader in digital business enablement, to provide a digital experience focused on the company’s mobile app. The Axway API Management solution enables the organization to drive greater customer engagement while also guaranteeing scalability and security.

With the goal of extending its reach to new and current customers, Rossmann put in place a coupon system made available online and on mobile devices to allow shoppers to save money without having to bring paper vouchers to the store. The company’s “Rossmann - Exclusive Coupons & Current Offers” app enables clients to automatically redeem all of the selected coupons and any others that match their purchase in a secure manner. Since its launch date in October 2015, over 300,000 users have downloaded the app and benefited from an amazing experience.

The app was designed for iOS and Android and is available for free download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
