H.I.G. Capital Announces Fourth Real Estate Investment in Italy
H.I.G. Capital announced today its investment through an Italian securitization in a portfolio of non-performing loans backed by a mixture of residential and commercial real estate, predominantly in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Tuscany in Northern Italy. Terms were not disclosed.
The transaction represents H.I.G. Capital's 23rd real estate investment in Europe since the start of 2013. H.I.G. continues to add to its sizeable portfolio of Real Estate assets in Europe, consisting of equity, debt investments and NPL portfolios with a particular focus on its target market of value-added small/midcap opportunities.
