Fransk leverandør innen eldreomsorg velger nok en gang Ascom

L’Association du Sacré Cœur – en organisasjon som driver to eldresentre, et dagsenter og andre tilbud i Vest-Frankrike, har nok en gang valgt Ascom trådløse kommmunikasjonsløsninger som en del av et pågående moderniseringsprogram.

"Vi er først og fremst glade for å kunne hjelpe en organisasjon som L’Association du Sacré Cœur med å gi enda bedre pleie og omsorg," sier Philippe Billet, administrerende direktør i Ascom France. "Men det viser også hvordan Ascom samarbeider med leverandører innen eldreomsorg over tid, for hele tiden å kunne forbedre kvalitet, beboersikkerhet og medarbeidertrivsel."

L’Association du Sacré Cœur bestilte deres første Ascom-løsning som var et pasientsignalsystem, i 1992. Organisasjonen valgte også Ascom i 1995, da de fikk installert en DECT-system. Den nye ordren er en del av en større utvidelse og oppgradering som begynte i 2010, og som inkluderer installering av en vandrekontroll-løsning og oppgradering av personalets mobile håndsett.

"Løsningen inneholder 30 Ascom teleCARE IP trådløse smykkesendere og posisjonssendere. Beboere som kan bli desorientert og gå seg vill, har på seg smykkesendere. Disse kan bæres som armbånd eller anheng rundt halsen. Systemet sender nøyaktige lokasjonsdata til pleiernes håndsett. Det gjør at personalet kan handle hurtig og effektivt hvis en beboer har beveget seg utenfor forhåndsdefinerte områder", sier Billett.

Den nye ordren fra L’Association du Sacré Cœur inkluderer en oppdatering av Ascom mellomvare og programvare som sammenkobler forskjellige deler av den trådløse kommunikasjonsløsningen. Ascom mellomvare gir også L’Association du Sacré Cœur tilgang til hendelseslogg, svartidsstatistikk og administrasjonsverktøy for enheter.

L’Association du Sacré Cœurs administrerende direktør Jean Pierre Bacle kommenterer den siste fasen i deres samarbeid med Ascom slik: "Ascoms kommunikasjonsløsninger har hatt stor nytteverdi for våre beboere. Ascom og L’Association du Sacré Cœur arbeider for tiden på å utvikle en felles Wi-Fi- og GSM-basert løsning.

"En slik løsning kan få stor og positiv innflytelse på pleiepraksis. For eksempel kan personalet motta kliniske data og alarmer i sine håndsett. Det vil gjøre det mulig for noen av beboerne å bo lenger i omsorgsboliger eller eget hjem. Det har stor verdi for en person å bo lengst mulig hjemme med verdighet, komfort og sikkerhet. Den kommende løsningen vil spille en viktig rolle for å få til dette", sier Philippe Billett.
