Cleaves Securities AS and Bankers Capital International Announce First Global Correspondent Initiative

(NEW YORK, NY and OSLO, NORWAY – March 28, 2017):
Cleaves Securities AS and Bankers Capital International today announced the inauguration of their first global initiative. Under the plan, Bankers Capital International and Cleaves Securities AS will leverage their respective networks, knowledge base and offices to provide their national and international clients with investment banking and capital formation services, worldwide. The companies will operate as correspondents through their investment banking offices currently located in New York, Oslo, London, and Singapore.

Commenting on the announcement, Per Olav Karlsen, Cleaves’ Chief Executive Officer said: “Cleaves has a rich history in international ship brokerage and financing activities in the shipping and transportation industry. The correspondent relationship with Bankers Capital International will provide Cleaves with broader access to the US markets, a wider base of skilled investment bankers, and a substantial framework of regulatory compliance.”
